 FAQs

  • We consider the objectives of the policy in light of who is impacted by it. The goal is not to create more harm than good by adding policies with unforeseen consequences. We can also assist with locating and addressing policy gaps.

  • Our law and policy practice includes data collection and analysis, policy evaluation, and program review. We assist in defining and measuring any existing policy and operational shortcomings and work to collect and analyze alternatives so you are sure you have selected the right way forward.

  • Once we are retained by an agency or organization, we complete a scope of work that spells out exactly what is needed from the process. We begin collecting data to ensure we have an accurate picture of what is happening. We measure performance to figure out the impact each issue has on operations to determine what approach should be taken to respond to each issue. We will then specify all issues and appropriate options for each, with recommendations. We can assist with implementation and will produce an operation plan to solidify the policy improvement in the normal operations of the agency or organization.

  • After the audit, we report our findings and recommendations to the agency or organization’s leadership to determine next step. If the agency or organization chooses to retain our services to implement and measure the improvements we can complete this task. Ultimately, we will produce operations and control plans to lock the changes into place.
