Youth learn how to plan a business, and once that business is started, how to plan for its growth and success.
Personal Budgeting
Youth learn the principles of budgeting and financial managements. Tools are provided to turn this knowledge to practice.
Customer Journey
Youth learn the process for moving a complete and random stranger into a loyal fan that will continue to bring more business.
Minimal Viable Product
Youth learn how to get their business started with a minimal viable product, and how to continue growing that product into a profitable product.
Technology
Youth learn the business applications and how to leverage those applications in their business to keep costs low and drive higher revenue.
Managing Teams
Youth learn the dynamics of teams, leadership, and group work by starting with a self-assessment of their purpose and passions.
Legal Compliance
Youth are introduced to the legal requirements of starting and maintaining a business. If they desire, free services will be available to start their business.
S.M.A.R.T. Goal-Setting
Youth learn to take any type of dream and turn it into a series of daily activities that will help them accomplish their dream.
Promises & Ethics
Youth learn how to serve all of their various stakeholders to ensure they are in the best position to succeed in an ethical and socially responsible business.
Community Education and Peer Mentorship
Young entrepreneurs are teamed up in cohorts and participate in a six-week training course consisting of:
Completing of workbook and worksheets,
Watching videos that accompany the workbook,
Engaging in group challenges,
Participating in weekly empowerment sessions with the program sponsors, and finally
Pitching a business enterprise to potential investors.
Program Features

Every kid is responsible for themselves and the group. We teach teamwork, collaboration, and peer-to-peer mentorship.

Lessons and concepts delivered in multiple methods, including videos, a textbook, and PowerPoint decks.

Written assignments to connect the lessons and concepts of the videos and text to a real business.

Program participants participate in a business pitch. During the pitch, they present an original business concept with an opportunity to receive funding toward their concept.
